Active oxygen bleach (100 per cent sodium percarbonate UN 3378) Easily biodegradable, excellent bleaching and disinfecting agent, but does not fade coloured clothes. Excellent for pre-treating and soaking stubborn stains.
Add approximately 2 tablespoons of powder to the detergent dispenser to keep your clothes white.
The bleaching powder is effective at 40 degrees (but 50 degrees is best - in lukewarm water, the desired effect can be achieved in 2-3 hours).
Pre-treat the stain with water by mixing a teaspoon of powder into a paste, applying it to the stain, rubbing it in as necessary, and then washing it out as usual after 1-2 hours.
To soak, add 1-2 tablespoons of bleach to 5 litres of lukewarm water.
